| Description | IST: PDF with XFA form content is accepted in Web Print. However, content is not displayed properly in PNG thumbnail and browser images. Instead a message with header "Please wait... " is shown, saying: "If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document." SOLL: Reject PDF with XFA content on print-in. | ||||
| Additional Information | XFA is a proprietary forms format used by Adobe. No wonder that Poppler tooling that follows Open Standards can't (won't) handle it. "In PDF 1.5, Adobe Systems introduced a proprietary format for forms; Adobe XML Forms Architecture (XFA). Adobe XFA Forms are not compatiblewith ISO 32000's AcroForms feature, and most PDF processors do not handle XFA content.
